Shrine of Telly: Week 3 (2022)
A recovering drug-addiction lawyer with two ex-wives, a daughter, and a penchant for cars finds himself at the center of a high-profile case after the death of his friend. It comes with practice and more small cases than he can handle. This intriguing premise creates a lot of possibilities for a lot of legal proceedings.
It’s engaging, entertaining, and enjoyable from start to finish – highly recommended
The series takes this, adds a strong cast, well-crafted and delivered dialogue, and an interesting plot, and is well-paced. Some of the cinematography choices are awkward, especially some of the focus shots and some of the orange tint, though overall it works as it should. Mickey’s driver Izzy is often used as a plot device, but despite being obvious, it feels natural and fits the narrative.
