Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, man-camps, oversee the assembly of the excavating machines, and the drilling of the well itself, especially in remote locations. They are also parts repairers, troubleshooters, and facilitators. episode (2022). This is a TV formula, but from a writer who decades from now will be remembered as Norman Lear is now.
The difference here is geography
It’s another niche Western show and its brilliant marketing is matched by excellent performances from top-notch actors. Accuracy issues with the oil industry? Apparently. Inadequacy with the mother-daughter-father-family dynamic?
The Larter is a top performer and looks phenomenal
Yes. Does this mean that none of them work the same in real life? Never mind, it’s a dynamic and fun production to watch. Thornton is slated for the role, although I read that it was initially only written for him.
If not, I’ll wonder what the deal is
Lots of interesting stuff, except the one oddity that Demi Moore appears in all 10 episodes. I’ve seen all 5 that have aired so far and unless it’s just me, I only remember seeing and hearing him in his pool once, for a brief moment. Hamm’s character isn’t seen much either, but he’s acted well and captures his character, but Moore hasn’t been allowed to add anything until now. Maybe he’s written that way and will play a role in later episodes.
