Chronology
Four young children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to be stranded in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neil’s little siblings is similar to Chewbacca’s family hour in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).

Based on the trailer, I thought it was going to be scary. I’ve only watched the first episode and I was surprised by how much fun it was.
Kind of Star Wars, Spielberg style
I have high hopes for this one. It may be intended for kids, but even in my old age, I love this style of storytelling.
There’s a bit of social commentary
The first episode was fun and engaging, well-paced and doesn’t take itself too seriously. So far, this is the second best series behind Endor, but that could change if we watch more episodes.
I think this series is a good direction for the Disney/Star Wars combination
