Chronology
Two women with contrasting lives come together. One struggles to survive after her mother dumps her, while the other runs a thriving company. Another misogynistic view of black women, another terrible show with bad acting and degrading story lines.
Is it just greed?
Is Tyler Perry trying to show the Hollywood elite that he has something meaningful to say? If so, he failed miserably. I have to say that I used to look forward to new entertainment from Mr.
Abuse, nudity, misogyny from the start
Perry. I’ve been getting more and more frustrated lately. I gave it a try because it looked like it might be a little interesting.

But I just couldn’t keep watching. Perry, I know you can do better. We are much more than pimps, strippers, hustlers, criminals and bad actors.
Their stories need to be told and can be interesting
Tell me the stories of the black people I know, nurses, doctors, honest businessmen, hardworking fathers and mothers who do everything they can to protect and uplift their families.
