Chronology
KJ and Dan are having a hard time communicating. Having had a strained relationship for a few years, the pair head to a friend’s cabin for a weekend getaway to rekindle their love… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a glue trap. They disagree on how to treat it, with KJ advocating for a quick death while Dan suggests making the mouse’s final moments as comfortable as possible. The pair compromise and move on, slowly finding each other again in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is shattered by the arrival of a little woman who can be charitably described as “eccentric” – she’s the sister of their host, who had no idea anyone was staying at the family vacation home. It’s okay to have a meltdown, right? As the couple struggles to juggle this intruder in their already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this disgusting third wheel could threaten more than just their relationship…
