However, I’m starting to worry a little that it’s getting too close to the “Lost” vibe.While "Lost" was also a fantastic show in terms of acting, directing etc. What really annoyed me at the very end was how many mysteries there were just for the sake of it being mysterious. As I watched the second season, I still found myself getting a little annoyed when another weird mystery was introduced, whether it was a symbol, an object, a thing, an event… mostly because I couldn’t stop myself from thinking, “Will this be relevant in any way in the long run?
It’s never mentioned again or explained in any way
that’s there. Because that kind of mystery writing just annoys me in the end. The writer can reach into their backs and pull out absolutely anything and never come back to it.” “Okay, next there’s a llama in a red hat whispering the words "paleontological" and "spatula"!” and that’s it, forgotten one season later, no explanation, it was just there to be weird. I’ll still watch it though, but if one day it ends and it’s just at the level of "it was all in his head!" and there’s no attempt to connect any thematic logic to it all, then consider this review at least 2-3 points lower…
