Another special effects movie with already outdated effects
Disney doesn’t win hearts with long special effects movies that are much less creative than their predecessors. The American voice cast is pretty bad, but it seems like a fair share of the budget went there. The music is uninspiring, as are the dialogues that build up to some songs.
This is not a family movie
Spend your hard-earned money on classics or real Disney shows. Kids will get bored after 30 minutes max. I’m hard pressed to think of anyone who would actually want to watch this.
But I don’t think it’s worth telling
The story, well, if anything, could have been an extra two minutes from the original Lion King. Avoid.
