This is the second version, the version that supports 32-bit processors
The minimum system requirements remain, as expected, the same, although this customized version of Windows should run faster than the original, due to the number of changes made that are listed below.
On my profile there is also the first version which is 64 bit
*** IMPORTANT NOTE: WHEN YOU GET TO THE “GET GOING FAST” SCREEN, SELECT CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS THEN DISABLE EVERYTHING FOR WINDOWS TO WORK *** System Requirements •Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor with NX /PAE SSE2 (if Windows 8 worked, this will also work) • RAM: 1 GB for 64-bit (technically only 512 MB is needed) • Hard disk space: 20 GB • Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later Changes and information (the most important ones , anyway): -Removed most Metro apps excluding Edge, Store and Calculator -Removed most non-essential drivers (such as graphics, printers, network) These will have to be manually downloaded and installed depending on each computer’s specifications -Removed some items accessibility features -Removed Speech and support for Cortana -Removed search (explorer search bar still works) -Removed Windows Media Player -Enabled Windows Photo Viewer to be used instead of the “Photos” metro app, although images will open in Paint first, while the user does not change the default application to Windows Photo Viewer.
-Games from the Store no longer work (couldn’t figure out why)
-Hibernation disabled -Page file disabled -Firewall removed (although in some cases it may appear while using the program, and the service is not removed because it is necessary) -Windows Update is not removed, but there is no guarantee that it works because you always disable it yourself via services.msc (it still needs to be enabled to install apps from the Store,) -Apps from the Store should still work fine…
